I have Kindle Fire and I’m back at it again surfing the
free books pages to find something that might interest me. Among the hundreds
of free books the choices for me are dwindled down to just a mild few. I first get rid of all the smutty reading
material. Then I cut out the overly religious stuff that just doesn’t appeal to
me. Next goes the classics (cause I have
them already) and you’ll notice how little is really left. In this day and age I still hold to the truth
that you judge a book by its cover. I
tried reading various reviews, but it’s just too time consuming for me and half
the time people give away the story and plot. So I head back to the age old visual stimulation
of a book cover. Come on we all do it, let
us just admit it.
“Don't listen to people telling you that getting up early is best. René Descartes is one of history's most important philosophers, but he rarely got out of bed before noon - and when he started getting up early for a new job as a private tutor, it caused him to catch pneumonia and die.” ― Gideon Defoe, The Pirates! in an Adventure with Communists |
